Lawing Marble, Inc. is a family owned and operated business located in Iron Station, N.C.  Lawing Marble was established in 1976 and has been very successful within the Lincoln County, and surrounding counties in which we serve.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our material and craftsmanship.  We create each piece from a precise blend of polyester resin, catalyst, crushed marble, and pigments that are thoroughly mixed and placed into open molds that have been coated with a clear gel coat.  The gel coat is specially formulated to produce a tough, durable, transparent surface resistant to service wear.

The chemical reaction initiated by the catalyst causes the resin to polymerize and harden, bonding the entire matrix together in a hard, strong mass.  After 24 hours of chemical curing, the parts are removed from the molds and trimmed, ground, polished, and inspected.
